42ste AICA congres in Valencia en Barcelona in november 2008

Het 42ste Internationale AICA Congres wordt dit jaar van 7 -14 november gehouden in Valencia en Barcelona.  Het onderwerp is Concepts and Realities of Arts and its Economies. Hieronder volgt voor de AICA leden de informatie om deel te nemen aan het congres.

DEADLINE : 30 JUNE 2008

The registration form as well as the logistical information for Valencia, Barcelona and the post-congress will be available by 30 June 2008. The deadline of the registration is 30 September 2008.

AICA OORKONDE TOEGEKEND AAN WARHOL TENTOONSTELLING IN STEDELIJK MUSEUM

De leden van de Nederlandse afdeling van AICA hebben op haar ledenvergadering besloten de AICA Oorkonde 2008 toe te kennen aan Dr. Eva Meyer-Hermann, samensteller van de tentoonstelling ‘Andy Warhol. Other Voices, Other Rooms’  in het Stedelijk Museum CS in 2007-2008. De Aica oorkonde wordt jaarlijks uitgereikt, beurtelings voor een tentoonstelling, een publicatie op het gebied van de beeldende kunst of vormgeving, en een kunstinstelling. De tentoonstelling is een co-productie van het Stedelijk Museum met Moderna Museet Stockholm en The Andy Warhol Museum te Pittsburgh. Vanuit het Stedelijk Museum werd de tentoonstelling gecoördineerd door Anniek Vrij.
De ledenvergadering achtte ‘Andy Warhol. Other Voices, Other Rooms’ het beste  tentoonstellingsproject in de periode 2006 – 2007.
